Our first litter of puppies was born during the morning of 18 December 2007.

The eight puppies, six boys and two girls, started to show their personalities almost immediately. The first-born, Mary, quickly showed herself to be resourceful and inquisitive, but with a lovely warmth, while the last, Nicholas, soon became cuddly and playful.

For the next seven weeks one of us was always with them, as we watched them grow and develop, and by the time they left we felt as if our children were leaving home!
